Yoga Policies


If you have registered and will be unable to attend:
Please contact me as early as you can (no later than 3 hours before class), as there is often a wait list for these classes. If you paid online, you will be able to move your credit for the class to another date. This will give someone else the opportunity to attend. If class is full, email to be added to the wait list in case of cancellations.

“No-show”-ing for a class for which you are registered:
You will be considered a “no-show” if you do not attend the class and did not let me know at least 3 hours in advance that you would not be attending. No refund or credit will be given for “no show”. Advanced payment will be required for all other registrations this season. I keep these classes small so that we have a more intimate experience, I can give attention to those who are present, and so that I don’t have to use equipment like a microphone to project my voice (takes away from being out in nature). Not coming to a class for which you registered means that someone else did not get to come either. Thanks for your understanding on this policy, and for being considerate to me and others in the community.

If you cancel your attendance within 3 hours before class, you may move your class credit to another class on the schedule. Credits must be moved before the class you are canceling takes place. I would be happy to help you do this if needed. If you request a refund for that cancellation (versus applying credit to a future class) there will be a 5% fee assessed. There are no refunds or credits given for “no show”. There are no refunds or credits available if you purchase a class pack and do not use all the classes.

Cancellations due to Weather
Should weather force a class cancellation, I will notify you at least an hour in advance at the email you used to pre-register and also by text to the phone number you provided. Inclement weather that forces a cancellation includes (but is not limited to): thunderstorms, extreme rain and high winds, temperatures over 95 degrees F with high humidity, air quality alerts, and conditions that recommend extreme caution.

In order to comply with standard operating procedures due to COVID-19:
– If you are not feeling well, have a fever, are suspected to have COVID-19, know that you have been exposed to others who have COVID-19, etc., please do not come to class. If you are diagnosed with COVID-19, please do not come to class until you have been cleared by a physician. Thank you for keeping our community safe.
– Masks are not required as you practice, but you may want to bring one for other interaction before/after class (personal preference).
– I will not be giving any hands-on assists.
– No mats or props will be provided. Please bring what you need.

PRIVATE YOGA POLICIES: Individual, Bring-a-Friend, Prenatal, Partners Prenatal
Should you need to reschedule a private yoga session, please contact me with at least 24 hours notice to do so. Should an emergency arise, please contact me as soon as possible by texting me at 203-506-4564. One emergency cancellation per 6 month period is allowed, unless we have discussed and come to another arrangement.
